European Commission chief Juncker: English is losing its importance in Europe

The President of the European Commission on Friday told an audience in Florence, Italy that the English language was losing its importance in Europe.

Before beginning his speech on the future of the European Union at the European University Institute, Jean-Claude Juncker deliberated over whether to use French or English.
