Marcela Tedeschi Temer, the wife of President Michel Temer, took the reins Wednesday of a new social program aimed at helping young children born to Brazil's poorest people.
"When one helps others, a story is changed," the first lady said in her first public appearance since her husband was sworn in on Aug. 31 after Congress ousted President Dilma Rousseff.
