Japanese technology company Fujitsu is negotiating the sale of its personal computers business with the Chinese giant Lenovo, in an operation aimed to increase profitability of both companies, Japanese media reports Thursday.
Fujitsu, seeking restructuring options, plans to split off its PC production business following its worst sales year due to falling global demand. Earlier, the company tried to negotiate a possible three-way merger with Toshiba's PC business and Sony's Vaio.
