The Venetian Pool, one of the architectural jewels of the 1920s in Miami, on Sunday held its annual day for dogs - the only day of the year when man's best friend is allowed to cool off and play in its azure waters.
The public pool has been open in Coral Gables, in Greater Miami, since 1924 and on Sunday morning owners brought dozens and dozens of their dogs of all breeds and sizes, along with toys or accessories such as floats, canoes, life jackets and mini-surfboards.
