France confirms its fighters escorted 2 Russian bombers along Atlantic coast

The French Ministry of Defence confirmed on Wednesday that two Russian supersonic strategic bombers, flying in international airspace, were escorted by French fighters after previously being escorted succesively by Norwegian, British and later Spanish fighter aircraft.
The French ministry of defense confirmed Wednesday that two Russian supersonic strategic bombers were escorted by French fighters along the French Atlantic coastline, after previously being escorted by Norwegian and British air forces.

The Russian warplanes were later shadowed by Spanish fighter aircraft.
