Inca, Tiwanaku treasures handed over to Bolivian gov't

A group of Aymara Indians handed over 18 gold and silver relics of the Inca and Tiwanaku cultures to Bolivia's Culture Ministry, an official said Tuesday.

The items were removed in 2010 from the Challa museum on Isla del Sol, located in Lake Titicaca, amid disagreements among various indigenous groups over the administration of the museum, the ministry's head of archaeological and anthropological research, Julio Condori
